The six-cartridge individual ink system keeps the cost-per-produced-disc low.Easy to use and integrate into virtually any environment, the PP-100III is operated from the front, and allows easy monitoring of ink levels for each color. As it is compact and fully stackable, the Discproducer also has valuable space-saving benefits for organizations with large-scale disc publishing needs.Total Disc Maker software is included, providing advanced functions such as the 'read back' file location tool, for filename or content backup from a stack of up to 50 discs. 1 The printer's ink pad is estimated to become saturated and need replacing after about 30,000 discs. Based on printing 2000 discs per month, bi-directional. Actual results will vary based on such factors as images printed, print settings, media type, frequency of use and temperature. Ink pad is end-user replaceable on Autoprinter model only. 2 Actual cartridge yields may be lower with high-density images, hot or dusty conditions, less frequent printing, or printing predominantly with one color. All ink colors are used for printing and printer maintenance, and all colors have to be installed for printing. For print quality, part of the ink from the included cartridges is used for printer startup and a variable amount of ink remains in the cartridges after the "replace cartridge" signal. 3 OS X support available
MicroPiezo technology is the award-winning piezoelectric technology used in the printheads of everyEpson inkjet printer. The piezo elements inside the printhead ensure precise control over the ink, whichhelps Epson printers achieve droplets as small as 1.5 picoliters (much finer than a human hair). Thesetiny droplets produce the unprecedented image quality, reliability and faster print speeds that Epson inkjetprinters are known.
AcuGrip™ Technology
Epson Discproducer™ disc publisher features Epson's precision robotic technology including AcuGrip, aproprietary technology which ensures that only one disc is placed in the drive or printer at a time. Thishelps prolong the life of the product and protects against interruption of unattended production runs dueto mechanical blockage.
