Epson's Discproducer PP-50II combines proven features with important upgrades.
Enabling fast and reliable CD/DVD/BD production, the PP-50II features a USB 2.0
interface, and publishes 15 CDs/8 DVDs/4 BDs per hour, including printing on the disc
surface. Production runs can be left to complete unattended, thanks to the fully
automated operation, the CD/DVD/BD drive, that provides best-in-class accuracy, and the
AcuGrip robotic arm, which ensures only one disc is grabbed at a time.
The PP-50II represents a cost-effective investment, as its maintenance cartridge and
CD/DVD/BD drive can be replaced by the user to extend its working lifespan. The six-
cartridge individual ink system keeps the cost-per-produced-disc low.
Easy to use and integrate into virtually any environment, the PP-50II is operated from the
front, and allows easy monitoring of ink levels for each color. As it is compact and fully
stackable, the Discproducer also has valuable space-saving benefits for organizations
with large-scale disc publishing needs.
Total Disc Maker software is included, providing advanced functions such as the 'read
back' file location tool, for filename or content backup from a stack of up to 50 discs.
The new 'merge print' feature burns and prints automatically individual content onto
each disc surface, enabling easier batch production.

1 The printer's ink pad is estimated to become saturated and need replacing after about 30,000 discs. Based on printing 2000
discs per month, bi-directional. Actual results will vary based on such factors as images printed, print settings, media type,
frequency of use and temperature. Ink pad is end-user replaceable on Autoprinter model only.
2 Actual cartridge yields may be lower with high-density images, hot or dusty conditions, less frequent printing, or printing
predominantly with one color. All ink colors are used for printing and printer maintenance, and all colors have to be installed
for printing. For print quality, part of the ink from the included cartridges is used for printer startup and a variable amount of
ink remains in the cartridges after the "replace cartridge" signal.

MicroPiezo® Technology
MicroPiezo technology is the award-winning piezoelectric technology used in the printheads of every
Epson inkjet printer. The piezo elements inside the printhead ensure precise control over the ink, which
helps Epson printers achieve droplets as small as 1.5 picoliters (much finer than a human hair). These
tiny droplets produce the unprecedented image quality, reliability and faster print speeds that Epson inkjet
printers are known.
