MAM-A 80-Min 1X-12X Digital Audio CD-R’s.  Product ID:  MAM-A 11066.  Clear, matte-silver surface.   MAM-A text in hub. These discs have an unbranded, no-logo, matte-silver surface.  In the center hub, it reads, "MAM-A AUDIO 80MIN", which is the manufacturer’s way to indicate that these are Digital Audio CD-R's. These discs include a Diamond Coat™ Protection surface, which resists scratching and fingerprints on the top of the disc.  Just below the lacquer surface & reflective layer on top of your disc is the dye layer, which is what stores your data.  Normal CD-R's leave this most vital area of the disc as vulnerable to scratches and fingerprints.  Diamond Coat™ Protection surface is an extra hard surface that protects the dye layer and keeps your data safe. Important Compatibility Note:  Some Philips models (specifically the 775 model, and occasionally the 765, 785 and other similar models) may not work with these cd-r's due to the Philips' common problem of a faulty power calibration unit.  This problem is becoming rare, but small quantities are recommended for testing.
