These characteristics make MAM-A Archival Gold the ideal professional CD-R for mastering and professional archiving. Unlike CD-Rs containing Cyanine, which lose their characteristics more quickly from exposure to light and heat, MAM-A Archival Gold CD-R’s ensure stability, exceptional longevity and durability, as well as added protection from the reinforced Diamond Coat protection layer. Accelerated aging tests show that MAM-A Gold Archival CD-R’s can be used as a reliable storage media for more than 300 years. All of the main components in the MAM-A Gold Archival CD-R are very stable in the environment; plastic (polycarbonate), phthalocyanine dye and gold (it NEVER oxidizes). These discs include a Diamond Coat™ Protection surface, which resists scratching and fingerprints on the top of the disc. Just below the lacquer surface & reflective layer on top of your disc is the dye layer, which is what stores your data. Normal CD-R's leave this most vital area of the disc as vulnerable to scratches and fingerprints. Diamond Coat™ Protection surface is an extra hard surface that protects the dye layer and keeps your data safe. Clear, matte-gold surface. In the clear, center hub area, printed is, "MAM-A 24K GOLD ARCHIVE".

This product is not designed to work in a Rimage Everest printer. This will work with screen printing.
